Green Oakes Farm was officially established in June of 2025. Although we are a new company, our roots run deep. We are a small family operated farm dedicated to growing fresh, healthy lettuce right here in Monmouth County. We focus on sustainable practices and quality you can taste. We hand-pick every head to ensure it is crisp, clean, and ready to eat!

We grow a vibrant mix of leafy greens, including crunchy green and red varieties of lettuce, astro arugula, and red veined sorrel. Each variety is carefully chosen for its flavor, texture, and visual appeal, offering a colorful blend of deep reds and bright greens. We put care into every step, from seed to harvest, so you can enjoy greens that are as fresh and nourishing as they were meant to be!

Tired of buying wilted lettuce from the grocery store? You’re not alone. Most lettuce travels thousands of miles from California, spending days in a cooler, then on a truck, then in another cooler…. You get the point. By the time it reaches the grocery store shelf it could be a week or two old already! Not us. We grow our lettuce right here in Monmouth county and pick, pack, and deliver it the very same day. We do not use any pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or synthetic fertilizers. Over our many years of growing experience, we picked the best varieties of lettuce to ensure great taste, extra crispiness, and beautiful color. We love what we do and take pride in putting out the best quality product. But don’t just take our word for it, give it a try!
